The China-LAC Sustainable Food Innovation Center operates under the intergovernmental science and technology cooperation framework between China and Latin American and Caribbean countries, establishing a multi-tiered collaborative operating mechanism. The center has a Council and an Expert Committee, responsible for overall coordination and decision-making, as well as scientific and strategic guidance, respectively. The sub-centers of the China-LAC Center serve as operational hubs, undertaking coordination and implementation functions. Leveraging the innovation center network in China and Latin American and Caribbean countries, the center forms an equal and collaborative platform to promote joint research and cooperative development.
